Wedding Website!

Long Post~
Lots of things to update...
1) Work
Life in school had been fulfilling for the past half a year. I wasn't teaching a high ability class; rather it was a low ability class with many so-called 'notorious' kids. Still being the form teacher and seeing them acquire knowledge everyday had been very satisfying. I do hope that this zest of mine will stay ever as I follow up to teach them next year.
I’m had mixed feelings when I heard that I will be teaching them next year. I just graduated and am still considered a ‘new’ teacher. I’m uncertain about a lot of things. Would I be shortchanging them on knowledge? Would I be able to handle kids that are under a lot of stress? Would I be able to control the class well? It’s like tons of questions popped out in my mind.
On the contrary, I was excited and joyful about being able to spend one more year with them. I’m not exactly emotionally attached to them. It was just being able to follow up and see the progression of each individual student... It’s like a journey that I had embarked and wish to follow through for PSLE.
Of course, time management will be an issue. Twice a week supplementary classes and on top of that, my CCA day. 3 out of 5 days, I will end late and most likely, heavier work load in markings and admin jobs. So, I got to stick my foot firmly on the ground next year. Persevere and squeeze the kids dry next year in preparations for PSLE. I do wish that all of them will pass and move on to secondary schools.
I’m blessed with good working colleagues for 2008 and most of them rendered help when needed. Next year, I’ll be working with P6 teachers and hopefully, will be able to work in unity. Kindness goes in a cycle and sometimes, it’s start from one simple act. I don’t mind being the person to start the cycle going as long as it makes teaching life fun and joyful.
2) KL Trip
The KL trip was a timely one. Though it was a bit of rush to go during that week, I managed to pull my friend – Rah, along. Work load and stress had already clobbered me even before I stepped into 2009. It’s the meeting of self’s expectations and I do admit, that it could be quite high sometimes. I’m not a perfectionist but I do like to challenge my own limits.
Though we went at the wrong time (where the sale period is not on), tons of walking and thinking at night helps a lot. There wasn’t anything to buy but we went twice to the spa. It’s indeed refreshing, relaxing and worth the money. I don’t think we can get two body massages and spa treatment for S$100… It’s a pity that SL can’t join us.
I had expected a lot from the water park in Sunway Lagoon. However, looking at the water slides, I just felt that the Singapore Wild Wild Wet was much better. It’s surprising to see people in scarves and not taking them off, even at the pool.
A Short Trip but a refreshing one, for me at least.
3) Home
I started shifting my stuff over to Wilson’s place. It feels awkward trying to take my belongings from my home to his. I can’t bring everything over. I don’t have a room big enough to place ALL my stuff. Alas, reality sinks in. I’ve got to split up my stuff and throw whichever needs to be thrown. Decisions, decisions, I have to decide what’s best to bring. The room’s not very big and the cupboard is shared by the 2 of us. I have to compromise a little. Work clothes definite and some of my barang barang.
Some may ask, what’s the big rush shifting over things now? I still have 2 months left, ample time… Apparently not. Next year, I’ve foreseen that I’ll be pretty busy with wedding stuff and teaching in school. Thus, this holidays is the right time to shift things over…
Weekends were burnt painting the room, arranging the furniture, setting up the curtain rod, buying curtains, buying bed sheets, etc. Lots of it was D.I.Y. since it’s cheaper rather than hiring someone to help with the fixing the stuff. Tight budget, but we’ll manage somehow.
4) Wedding
Most of you would have heard the wedding stuff now. Nothing much to say~ but I do hope all of you can make it there. I’m looking forward to my wedding. Getting excited as it draws nearer. Though we’ve been together for almost 10 years, it wasn’t an easy journey. Lots of downs rather than ups till 2008. The ‘ups’ we’ve experience so far were in 2008 after my graduation. Thank God!
5) Friends
I’m glad that I got to meet up XJ during the holidays~ Sometimes, I feel at peace just listening to her. Her voice seems to comfort me in a way, even though I might have tons of things to share and tell her. I’m more of a listener, I think. Though sometimes words I say might be hurtful and piercing in a way, I never meant to mean it in a negative way. I’m frank, yes, only very frank to people that I cherish. I do hope you will be strong and strong in a way that you can be proud of yourself one day. Nothing’s easy but if you try harder enough, it’s possible. It’s just a matter of time before you know you’ve already crossed the hurdle and had moved on in life.
Finally, I get to meet SL and Rah together.
I’m meeting Alaina and gang this Sunday. Looking forward to it.

God's Love Manifested~
Now my table's neater ^^
OH! I nearly forgotten to mention the KL trip. It was wonderful~ Spa was hahahha~ A memorable experience and of course~! Shopping! I bought working clothes and etc~ Fun! I cant wait to plan my next holiday!
I'll be going for my Teacher's Investiture (8th July Tues) and Convocation (26th July Sat) soon. It will be a little different this time (*^O^*) Graduation sounds familiar as so I did after my Diploma days. The word brings a nostalgic feeling~ Especially Rah and SL are not with me this time round. I cant throw my hat at them. *sighs* This would be the 2nd time that I would be graduating from NIE. Hopefully, it wont be the last ~
I've watched plenty of movies during the month of June and it's still counting... Kungfu Panda (x2), Chronicles of Narnia (x2), Zohan, etc~ Zohan was a hilarious type of comedy and it's been a while since I could laugh till my stomach hurts while watching a movie. Not bad~ those who havent got the chance to watch it should go for it~ Dont give it a miss.
God has indeed blessed me with many good tidings for this year. Financially stable job and marriage plans are on the way. I am kind of excited too. Tons of details and budgeting to take care of ~ It's not a headache and I believe that me and Wilson are enjoying the process at being noobs in everything.
Perhaps I need to view the wedding gowns first and then start to diet.. Orz..

Day 2 after Exams
Clearing notes and stuff. Waiting for someone to pick it up soon or not. =/ Tons to things to do. Room's in an awful mess. I need to grab a wedding present for my friend. Feed the dog. Parents' not at home because they went for a short holiday. Revamp a website for my brother.
Clearing notes was fun. It's like saying goodbye to them forever. The tons of writing and the messy scribbles are 'bye bye'.
Currently, I'm listening to music, sipping tea and typing in my blog. Yawns. Wonderful life I have for my 2nd day after exams.
I've got a BBQ on the 12th. Steamboat on the 17th. ^^~ and whole day tuitions on Sat. before I quit my tuition job in Khatib.
I anticipate driving lessons soon and and ... more to come.

Labour Day!
We went IKEA and was met with like 100002039240 people there. The weather's hot and could possibly melt metal with the blazing heat from the sun. Was fun walking around till the getting home part. The feel of fatigue or being dehydrated... Showering did me good and we went for a car tour around Yishun. Hehe~ Went to a beautiful jetty near the sea. =)
Lovely days ahead. Till I get my posting...

YAY FOR THE END!
Went Plaza Singapura to walk around a bit. Hasnt been there since ages... Good to chill out with friend after exams. Hehe~ after which 2nd part I met April, my long time friend, who came back like 1/2 a year ago and I've not yet had time to meet her to catch up. Orz..
Guess I need to catch up with my friends one by one.

No Title. Lazy to think of one anyways~
Oh, one of my friends recently got HFMD... (@o@) Must be terrible having to be cooped up at home. Well, it reminds me of the days where I had to stay indoors after operation. Well, not sure of when's the next meetup with the HFMD gal and SL. I've yet to get the photos we took in Taiwan... *sighs*
Close to 1am. I'm wide awake and is under-going self-motivation through updating of my *almost choked with dust* blog.
Havent kept in touch with many friends. Probably many would have forgotten that I existed. Orz. Last semester in school equates to no life, endless burning of midnight oils, adding of wrinkles, eye bags and eye rings. Maybe it's time for the zookeeper to bring me back to my panda cage.
Orz.. I want to eat supper!

Five Loaves and Two Fishes
A little boy of thirteen
was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing
and he went to take a look
Thousands were listening
to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom,
even the kids could understand
The hours passed so quickly
the day turned to night
Everyone was hungry
but there was no food in sight
The boy looked in his lunchbox
at the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do
there were thousands to be fed
But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus
the kindness in His smile
and the boy cried out
with the trust of a child
he said:"
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
to feed them all"
I often think about that boy
when I'm feeling small
and I worry that the work I do
means nothing at all
But every single tear I cry
is a diamond in His hands
and every door that slams in my face
I will offer up in prayer
So I'll give you every breath that I have
Oh Lord, you can work miracles
All that you need is my "Amen"
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
I hope it's not too small
I trust in youI trust in you
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
no gift is too small

Updates
lol~ Cats~ The resurface of the old image i had~ Now let's see what updates are there for this cat.
There you go~ A new version from the Internet.
Well, it's me now. I've been busy since the new term for school starts. Staying back in school till 9pm at night doesnt seem to help in my beauty sleep schedule. It's tiring and i smell of soil. Since most of the time in the Geography lab, i'm doing soil testing stuff. Guess the night time's for me after all. I work better when the sunset. *flashes my vampire teeth*
On a brighter thought, it's my last semester now. Though stressful and things are appearing to come one after another, i'll cope fine under stress. I'll pull my hair sometimes. Haha~ I'm glad the trip to Taiwan manage to revitalize my energy for this semester. =)
I just finished watching Jodan ja nai!. It's a JP TV serial show. It's hilarious. Great episodes~
It's about this 40 year old man who got married with a 20 year old lady. The mother of the bride happens to be the bridegroom's ex-boyfriend. Tricky situation and lots of funny scenes.
Oh! I still owe someone Heroes 1, 2 and maybe 3. My friend said season 4 will be coming soon but till then, i still need season 3.
I recently got to hear a song from Tokyo Philharmonic, thanks for Derrick for identify the song for me. You're WOW! Now i gotta go look for some source to download it. It's a Japanese orchestra, nice music and great soloist I would say.
Okies, end of ranting time. Gotta work on another report.
Peace out~ Cant wait for Rah to enter NIE.. welcome welcome~~~~~~
A.S.S: My stuff's still with Rah. If you dont return by Chinese New Year, it's bad luck. Hahahha~
X.J: Miss U lots!
To The Teachers out There~
To The Teachers out There~
The Little Boy
by Helen E Buckley
Once a little boy went to school.
One morning,
When the little boy had been in school awhile,
The teacher said:
"Today we are going to make a picture."
"Good!" thought the little boy.
He liked to make pictures.
He could make all kinds.
Lions and tigers,
Chickens and cows, trains and boats.
He took out his box of crayons
And began to draw.
But the teacher said: "Wait!
It is not time to begin!"
And she waited until everyone looked ready.
"Now," said the teacher,
"We are going to make flowers."
"Good!" thought the little boy.
He liked to make flowers,
And he began to make beautiful ones
With his pink and orange and blue crayons.
But the teacher said, "Wait!
And I will show you how."
And it was red, with a green stem.
"There," said the teacher.
"Now you may begin."
The little boy looked at the teacher's.
The he looked at his own flower.
He like his flower better than the teacher's.
But he did not say this.
He just turned his paper over
And made a flower like the teacher's.
It was red, with a green stem.
On another day, the teacher said:
Today we are going to make something with clay."
"Good!" thought the little boy.
He liked clay.
"Now," said the teacher,
"We are going to make a dish."
He liked to make dishes.
And he began to make some
That were all shapes and sizes.
But the teacher said, "Wait!
And I will show you how."
And she showed everyone how to make
One deep dish.
"There," said the teacher.
"Now you may begin."
The little boy looked at the teacher's dish.
Then he looked at his own.
He like his dish better than the teacher's.
But he did not say this.
He just rolled his clay into a big ball again
And made a dish like the teacher's.
It was a deep dish.
And pretty soon
The little boy learned to wait,
And to watch,
And to make things just like the teacher.
And pretty soon
He didn't make things of his own anymore.
Then it happened
That the little boy and his family
Moved to another house
In another city,
And the little boy
Had to go to another school.
And the very first day
He was there,
The teacher said:
"Today were are going to make a picture."
"Good!" thought the little boy,
And he waited for the teacher
To tell him what to do.
But the teacher didn't say anything.
She just walked around the room.
When she came to the little boy
She said, "Don't you want to make a picture?"
"Yes," said the little boy.
"What are we going to make?"
"I don't know until you make it,"
Said the teacher.
"How shall I make it?" asked the little boy.
"Why, anyway you like," said the teacher.
"And any color?" asked the little boy.
"Any color," said the teacher.
"If everyone made the same picture,
And used the same colors,
How would I know who made what,
And which was which?"
"I don't know," said the little boy,
and he began to make a red flower with a green stem.
It totally blew me away. This might be the situation in Singapore context. *sighs* Just praying that I wont be the teacher in the poem. It'll be awfully sad.
